Fishing for Austin's Birthday Week

Austin wanted to go fishing for his Birthday Week.  SO we took the kids.. Just a couple of pictures..

Austin turns FIVE!

Well Austin wanted nothing more than to go to Islamorada for his birthday and feed the tarpon.  He wanted to take a friend with him... so we invited Jaden, who is of of my favorite little men!  The kids went to daycare with him pretty much their whole lives.  He went to my daycare for about a year, and to this day I am good friends with his parents.  It was nice of them to let Jaden come with us to the keys for Austin's special day. :)

Happy Birthday Austin.  We got you a lot of LEGO... :)

The best part about this picture...Well, Erianna was too cool for the boys so she walked about 15 feet away to feed the fish...and the boys kept throwing bait in her direction and Erianna was freaking out because there were fish jumping all around her and she couldn't figure it out..and then she did..and then it was LOUD!

Sanibel Island 2011

Sanibel Island 2011

The kids and I went to Sanibel Island the same week in 2010, and we had such a blast, we knew it was going to become a regular thing... so we booked it again for 2011.  Rather than stay in a hotel, I opted for something different.. We stayed in a two bedroom condo on the beach.  It was GREAT!  Eric was not able to get off work, so I invited my good friend Lisa and her two children to go with us.  It was such an awesome trip.  It was the first vacation she had ever gone on without her husband so I think it was a little tough on her and her hubby, but my kids are used to it!  Lisa and I got to know each other even better than before... and our kids got to play..it was awesome.  The kids loved each other.. and it really was an amazing week.  Here are a few pictures:

The dolphin tour wasn't successful, but we still had a great time.

Mommy was well prepared with some night time arts and crafts activities.  We made boxes to put shells in and picture frames.  They came out so cute!!!

Great day today... just a quick trip to Key Largo to go snorkeling and feed the fish.. Here are the pics!
