Mother's Day was finally, actually just another day!

So this mother's day actually proved to be great.  I woke up, got lots of kisses from the kids.  My husband got a couple of cute cards from the kids and dogs, and my best friend Jason made me one from scratch, which was very amusing.   I worked all day, and it was busy, but ran extremely smooth.  We all were cracking jokes on each other all day, and loading up on espresso based drinks and energy drinks every hour.  I am surprised I was able to sleep last night!  

In the morning, when I was at work, my friend and coworker Ryan called me and asked me to come outside for a minute.  When we got to his car, he had two mother's day balloons.  He said he had a yearly tradition of letting one go every year on mother's day for his mom, and got one for my mom this year, too.  So we let them go together, gave each other a hug and ran back into work.  It was really nice. 

A couple of years ago,  Erianna had let go of a balloon on accident.  You parents out there know how devastating that is for  a child... I immediately started praising her and telling her that it was very nice of her, and that my mom would get the balloon in heaven, and she would love it.  Ever since then, my daughter has an obsession and wants to always give balloons to my mom, but I had to explain to her that, sometimes they don't make it to heaven and end up in the ocean and a dolphin might choke on it!
